Focused on Youth Safety
Vari SAFE Education specializes in youth safety. Our programs, instructors, and learning objectives are designed to support children, build student confidence, and strengthen families and communities.
Accessible Programs Across Ontario
We partner with city recreation departments, local CAS agencies, individual schools and school boards, and youth groups to deliver comprehensive, youth-specific safety programs across Ontario. With more cities, additional dates, and smaller class sizes, it is easier than ever to find a learning experience that fits your family’s needs.
Financial Assistance
We offer financial assistance to all students who wish to attend our programs but may face financial barriers. Everyone is welcome, regardless of ability to pay.

Courses That Build Confidence
Our Home Alone & Stranger Safety program and Babysitters Training Courses are taught by certified Vari SAFE instructors. Each course includes a detailed student handbook, discussion, real-life examples, and interactive opportunities that help students understand and feel comfortable with the material.
Experienced, Caring Instructors
Our instructors enjoy working with children and bring formal accreditation in teaching, health care, or related fields. Your child will learn from knowledgeable role models who focus on helping students reach their goals in personal safety and safe caregiving.
Our instructor team also maintains high standards through:
- Ongoing development workshops
- Current police criminal record checks, including vulnerable sector screening
- Annual instructor and First Aid certifications
Certification and Family Readiness
We provide certification for our Babysitters training program and encourage families to discuss readiness after the Home Alone program. At Vari SAFE, we want parents and children to feel prepared, confident, and supported as they take on these new and exciting responsibilities.
